Sweetwater Cafe - Agua Dulce, CA

Small Country Cafe about a 15 minute walk from Runway 4. Just walk south on the taxi way past silver metal hangars to the gate that leads to Darling Rd., turn right and walk a short distance to Agua Dulce Cyn Rd. Then make a left turn on Agua Dulce Cyn Rd to down town Agua Dulce very small area with a grocery, liquor, and hardware store within close proximity. Cafe will be on your left. Castle Air Museum - Atwater, CA

Castle Air Museum is located at 5050 Santa Fe Drive, Atwater, California, 95301, in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, adjacent to Castle Airport. Drive time is approximately one hour from Fresno, two hours from Sacramento, and three hours from San Francisco. Open year-round (weather permitting) except New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Auburn Airport-Wings Restaurant - Auburn, CA

Wings restaurant on the airfield is a great place to go for breakfast or lunch! Outside dinning on a covered patio is a perfect place to watch the planes come and go. The food is really good! Great 'Fly In' Getaway. Fly to AVX, Catalina 'Airport in the Sky'. Owned by pilots. Discounts to pilots. The airport is located in the center of the Island, at 1602 feet elevation.Its single 3250 foot runway is able to accommodate most small planes. Palm Springs Area - Bermuda Dunes, CA

When flying to Palm Springs, we like to use KUDD. The airport is centrally located to the entire Palm Springs area. The staff is beyond friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a 10/10 experience. We've stayed there many times over the past few years and NEVER had a sub par experience. Big Bear Airport - Big Bear, CA

High altitude airport ski resort. Hiking and several good restaurants in the area. Big Bear City Airport is located in Southern California, approximately 40 miles outside of the Los Angeles metropolitan area, on the southern boundary of the San Bernardino Mountain Range. Boonville Airport - Boonville, CA

Boonville is a small town, but does have a number of restaurants, an ice cream shop, some antique/curio shops, and an old hotel. The entire town is an easy walk from the field. It's a great place for a $100 hamburger. You will find Boonville an extremely friendly town. Its a very trendyntown with lots of wine country visitors. Waypoint Cafe - Camarillo, CA

Best airport cafe EVER! This is an amazing place to drive or fly in to. Located at the Camarillo airport with indoor and outdoor seating options. Fantastic food and views. Plus, they have a replica airport tower and runway for the kids to play. Great to watch planes coming and going while enjoying great food. This is a must stop. - Submitted by Chase

Flying Tigers Aviation - Chino, CA

WOW....Flying Tigers is back!!! A new themed FBO that is a copy of a 1940 Flying Tigers Base in China but modern stuff hidden in old props!!! Cool factor is off the hook. After we went to Planes of Fame Air Museum and the Yanks Air Museum, all on the same airport!!! Never have been to an airport that was THIS cool!!! For a great day away, fly into Flying Tigers, fuel up, eat then explore. Coolest warbird airport EVER with great people. A must see!!! - Submitted by Robert
