Flabob Airport

Flabob Airport is one of the older airports in America 1925. I has long been Internationally famed as a paradise for homebuilders, antiguers, and all those devoted to sport, recreational and family aviation.

Since 2000 it has been owned by Thomas Wathen Foundation, a non-profit corporation dedicated to historic aviation preservation and aviation education of young people and the public generally. Flabob is known for it's friendly denizens and welcomes all visitors.

It's tower-free, 3200 foot runway is just west of Riverside, California, under the slopes of historic Mt. Rubidoux. - Submitted by Mitchell

2/29/2012 - Flew into Flabob on Saturday morning for breakfast. What a cool approach with Mt Rubidoux on downwind/base leg! Say hello to some hikers as you make the quick descending turn to final!

The restaurant, what to say..... I am going to steal this review from another source, because it summed it up perfectly!

If you are looking for red carpet service and cloth napkins, don't come to Flabob! However, if you are looking for a great home cooked meal for around 5, we would love to have you!
