3/28/2018 - Looking at Google Maps, it's not a 1/2 mile walk. More like 1.6 miles, which is not too far if you're a walker. Street view shows some sidewalks, bike paths, and fairly wide shoulders, but some narrow places. - Submitted by Mike Dewey
8/31/2008 - Interesting place. They kinda make it sound grander than it is - it's really just a big flea market, but if you go in knowing that, you're good to go. Typical flea market outside, the usual used duds and tables full of knick knacks, old furniture, etc. The inside merchants mart is very interesting - something for everyone, and entertaining even if you don't buy anything. Not a full day, and not a place we are keen to visit twice - but glad we went. It was fun. I'd recommend it, but not if you have something else to do - it's a lark, not a planned trip kind of thing.
