Fort Buhlow Recreation Area
-
Pineville, LA
My wife and I try to look for fly in destinations that incorporate flying and excercise. Buhlow state park is adjacent to 2L0 and is a short walk to the entrance of the park. The park offer a mixture of paved walking trails, some through wooded areas, as well as grass/gravel on the remainder. We enjoy the scenic relaxing walks through the wooded areas. They also have a nice disc golf course. The park entrance is at the north end of the runway and the ramp area is near the south end. -
