2/8/2019 - This is a favorite destination of pilots at my airport for breakfast. It's less a less than 30 minute flight in a 150. They just resurfaced and repainted the runway, which it definitely needed. The breakfast buffet isn't offered during the winter months, but the menu prices are reasonable and the food is good. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. No fuel available so plan your flight accordingly. - Submitted by Brian Crane

8/21/2017 - This is an awesome destination. Flew in on 8/19/17 and walked a short distance to the lodge. Had the $9 breakfast buffet. The food was very good and I will return again. - Submitted by Bill Weller
3/4/2017 - Great place to fly too! Runway is in good shape, and the facilities are clean and well maintained. We walked about 1/4 mile to the lodge where there was a nice restaurant with good food and cheap prices. 4/24/2016 - Flew in to check the place out. Five planes landed right after we did. Decent little airstrip. The lodge is within walking distance. Super friendly people. They have a full schedule of events planned for 2016. We definitely plan on returning. - Submitted by Jay Mcelmurry
5/19/2014 - Flew down for dinner...great food, great view. Nice little airstrip close to the cabins, lodge, and lake. All the tie downs by the shelter had ropes. - Submitted by Mike

9/15/2013 - Second time I've been over and it's a quick flight over from home less than 30 min. What an awesome place. Fine little airport and the restaurant at the lodge is fantastic great food. Is a great place to go take a lazy afternoon with a frisbee or skip rocks across the lake. They've got a playground for the kiddo's, tennis courts, and just a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth the flight down and would recommend to anyone. - Submitted by Pilot

6/7/2006 - What a wonderful little secret this place is. Food was wonderful at the Lodge and the view is great too. Will definetly be back to spend a couple of days.
9/17/2003 - Just Southwest of Louisville. I visit this location 2 or 3 times a year. Rooms, cabins, camping, pool, 9-hole golf, rent a boat. And yes you can walk from the airstrip or they'll pick you up. Nice place.
