6/3/2016 - We flew into KDXE today for lunch. This is a nice little airfield with the Airways Cafe restaurant located right on the field. When we arrived at approximately 1230, the restaurant had quite a few customers. Business seemed to be doing well. The menu was excellent, consisting of hamburgers, chicken, BLTs, etc. They also offered a daily special, which was roast beef or catfish today. The restaurant hours are 0600-1400 M-F and 0600-1300 on Saturday. Fuel was reasonably priced for the area. Overall, a very nice place for a $100 hamburger. - Submitted by Squelch
8/11/2012 - Flew in for breakfast this morning, 8/17/12. Runway in great shape, easy to taxi right up to restaurant and outstanding service. Food was good not great. Everyone was supreme friendly and the love airplanes. This may be my new favorite Saturday morning destination. - Submitted by Mike

4/30/2009 - Great stop for breakfast or lunch. Excellent home cooked meals, and AWESOME cheeseburgers. Their hours are M-F 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dexter Municipal Airport offers self service fuel/credit card 100LL and Jet A at competitive prices. - Submitted by pbarbour
11/13/2005 - Flew in with a friend on a Saturday morning for a late breakfast. Nice folks and good food, and a good crowd of locals on hand as well.
