Cabin Creek Landing Bed Breakfast - Marion, MT

Montana is known for its beautiful National Parks Glacier Park and Yellowstone Park. This bed breakfast is located in the heart of Glacier Country Montana. The impeccably decorated and furnished bed and breakfast was officially opened in the middle of 2011. You can taxi right up to the front of the BB in order to tie-down. If you would rather drive, we are located right off of Highway 2. If you fly in, the crystal blue waters of Bitterroot Lake is located right off of the pattern's downwind leg. It is a great lake for skiing, fishing, or landing your float plane. - Submitted by Rick Todd

Mission General Amish Country Store - Saint Ignatius, MT

Come fly into the beautiful Mission Valley! One of the hidden gems of the area is a local Amish Grocery Store called Mission General that happens to be at the end of runway 08. Tie your plane down and either grab one of the courtesy cars or walk to the store. It is adjacent to the East end of the field. Many people simply pull off down by the numbers and walk over. They have great sandwiches, an amazing Deli, and lots of delicious and unique products. There is a pavilion out front with tables. Meet the owners, Delbert and Ruth Bontrager. They don't have a website or email because they are Amish. Tell them that you flew in and where you're from. They are super-friendly. They are open Mon-Sat. They do close earlier around 5:30. Saturday is their busy day. - Submitted by Greg Arlint

Thompson Falls Airport - Thompson Falls, MT

This little jewel of a town is just a few miles north of the airport, which is easy in and out. Be sure to fly over the town and get a view of the falls! If your coming or going to the southeast, the flight through the valley is wonderful. There is fuel, courtesy car and camping is probably okay, but no specific facilities except a very basic pilot lounge. Take the car and go into town for some food and a visit to the falls. Beautiful spot and worth the time. A short drive down the valley to SE takes you to a spot where mountain sheep can often be spotted, and a view of a settlers trail that will amaze. How did they do that? - Submitted by J. Rust

West Fork Lodge - Darby, MT

The West Fork Lodge is situated in the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana. The history of this area is here for all to enjoy. From Lewis Clark to Sacajewa to the Nez-Pierce battle grounds. These are some of the outdoor activities that our guests come to enjoy. After a day of exploration, guests are now ready for relaxation, their favorite beverage and a wonderful meal. Start your next adventure with a hearty breakfast in the morning and for those needing to pack a lunch, we can prepare it for you. A 2,600-foot airstrip is located on the property with private planes landing almost daily. - Submitted by Steve Rossiter
