We attended the 'Wings Over Paris' Airshow at Paris Cox Field in Paris, Texas. What an Airshow! Aerobatics by the top performers in the field, plus Warbirds! They even had a flying Mig 17! If you missed it, be sure and go next year. You won't regret it!
We attended EAA Chapter 1246's monthly get together where they were having a Pancake and Sausage fly-in. There we saw Jimmy Doolittle's totally restored 1938 Stinson Reliant aircraft. The owner was gracious enough to tell us about the history of this glorious aircraft.
We flew from Wood County Airport to Gladewater Airport for their EAA Chapter's "Gumbo on the Runway" event. What a day! Zero wind and unlimited visibility.
