Description:

We are seeking a skilled Saw Helicopter Pilot to operate aerial saw helicopters in tree trimming operations around powerlines, roads, and difficult-to-reach areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aerial saw work, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to operate in challenging environments.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a saw-equipped helicopter to safely and efficiently trim trees near powerlines, roads, and other infrastructure.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness.
• Coordinate with ground crews and other team members for precise and effective trimming operations.
• Monitor weather conditions and make real-time decisions to maintain operational safety.
• Ensure all flight logs and maintenance records are accurately updated.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and FAA regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• FAA Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CPL) with a valid Class 2 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 2000 hours of flight time, with significant experience in aerial saw operations.
• Proficiency in long-line flying and experience in utility or forestry aviation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in remote locations and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
