Assists the Manager QC, 145 Repair Station in directing and maintaining a system of continuing analysis and surveillance of the performance and effectiveness of the aircraft maintenance systems within the NJS145 LLC.All duties assigned may be delegated to qualified assistants; however, such delegation does not constitute relief from overall responsibilities. Ensures available staffing is utilized effectively for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and supervises on-duty Quality Control employees. Utilizes and administers company philosophy, policies and procedures, collective bargaining agreement and RS amp;QCM.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensure all documentation associated withrepairs completed within the NJS 145 Repair Station are compliant with the Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM) and technical data (e.g. OEM maintenance manuals).
Ensure regulatory compliance of work performed and airworthiness of aircraft maintained at the NJS Repair Station via the supervisor of Quality Control Inspectors.
Works in conjunction with Supply department to verify parts receiving is compliant with RSQCM as well as periodic checking of tooling to ensure compliance.
Provide NDT inspection oversight.
Build effective relationships with internal and external customers fostering a mature, professional business relationship resulting in a positive, productive and effective relationship
