The Supervisor, Tool amp; Ground Service Equipment is responsible for managing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective oversight of tools and ground service equipment owned or managed by the NJS145 LLC Repair Station. This position directly coordinates all tool and ground service equipment inventory located at the CMH Hangar and other locations. This position manages the purchase, rental, repair, calibration, loaning, and disposal of all tooling inventory for use on NJA Aircraft.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with all company, state, local and federal safety, environmental, and other applicable regulations.
Directly responsible for all tooling and ground service eqiupment inventory.
Schedules, plans, prioritizes, all tooling and ground service equipment inventory repairs, preventitive maintenance,calibration and assigns the appropriate vendor to accomplish.
Directly oversees and tracks tooling requested by NJA MCC for loan to other repair agencies for use on NJA Aircraft.
Ensures proper documentation of services provided for billing, calibration certification.
Inventories and manages the ground service equipment and tooling resources required for the operation.
Supports existing relationships with customers, vendors, internal departments, suppliers and establishes new relationships accordingly.
Develops policies and procedures regarding tooling management.
Assists Manager QC 145 Repair Station for compliance with 14 CFR 145.211 C (1) (viii) and other applicable rules.
Maintains aircraft fueling equipment, records and operations in compliance with 14 CFR 139.321 regulations.

Associateapos;s Degree in Aviation or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Five (5) years tool room management and/or industrial vehicle maintenance experience.
Experience in aircraft fueling operations is a plus.
Valid driverapos;s license required.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and obtain AOA badge required.
Working knowledge of calibrating measuring and test equipment (PMET) used in maintaining articles, including the intervals at which the equipment will be calibrated.
Experienced in aircraft tooling operations and requirements required.
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical applications required.
Have knowledge of blueprint and schematic reading.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred.
