M N Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to operate a Hawker 800XP aircraft, primarily in support of our organ procurement flight operations. The Captain will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of medical teams and critical organ cargo under time-sensitive conditions.
As a Hawker 800XP Captain, you will play a vital role in facilitating life-saving missions by providing reliable and swift transportation for organ procurement operations. This position demands the highest level of professionalism, dedication, and a keen ability to operate in high-pressure situations while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate the Hawker 800XP aircraft for organ procurement and other specialized flight missions.
- Conduct pre-flight planning, including weather assessment, fuel management, and route optimization for time-sensitive operations.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and all applicable safety protocols.
- Coordinate closely with medical teams, ensuring timely departures and arrivals to meet the demands of organ procurement schedules.
- Provide leadership and direction to the co-pilot and other crew members during flight operations.
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and addressing any maintenance concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical personnel, and air traffic control.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation, reporting any incidents or issues to the management team.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure proficiency in aircraft operation and safety practices.
Requirements:
- FAA ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) certificate.
- Type rating in the Hawker 800XP or comparable jet aircraft.
- Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, with at least 1,500 PIC (Pilot in Command) hours in jet aircraft.
- Experience in high-pressure, time-sensitive flight operations is strongly preferred, particularly in the medical or organ procurement field.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by organ procurement operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Current first-class medical certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in air medical or organ procurement transport operations.
- HS-125 Type Rating (Current)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time-sensitive missions effectively.
