Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft, Sales and Strategy

Director, Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA), Sales and Strategy,
leads the pursuit and capture activities for the Bell 360, focused on the
military Future Vertical Lift Programs.
This position is based at Bell’s
Ft. Worth, TX headquarters facility.


  • Direct and manage the team
    responsible for developing the business pursuit strategy for securing the
    Army’s Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) Program of Record.

  • Provide strategic guidance in
    response to USG Solicitations to include Requests for Information (RFIs),
    Request for Enhanced Whitepapers (REWP) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).

  • Guide Campaign Leads as they manage
    cross-functional proposal teams.

  • Direct development and execution of
    FARA capture efforts to include win-strategies, price to win, risk
    analysis/mitigation plans for the FARA capture efforts.

  • Provide direction with regard to
    corporate partnering strategies to enhance probability of win for Army FARA

  • Manage customer relationships with
    key DoD customers.

  • Develop and execute executive
    engagement plans with the military/customer base.

  • Influence requirements for USG that
    align with Bell products and services.

  • Own key military Bell 360 (FARA) strategies/messages
    and one voice communication for customers and Bell/Textron senior leaders.

  • Interface with USG
    Programs/CSS/Engineering/Industrial Operations/Commercial Sales and Marketing
    leadership within Bell.

  • Interface with the Bell Advanced
    Vertical Lift Center, and Washington DC, Textron Office on corporate
    strategies, DoD Budgets, QDR, Pentagon, Theater Commands and Congressional

  • Represent Bell as an executive at
    key military trade shows and events, such as, AAAA, AUSA, MCAA, and
    international Paris/Farnborough Airshow.
    Promote the Bell brand and Bell
    products and services, supporting Bell interests within DoD.



  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s
    Degree is preferred.
    Major in Engineering, Business Administration - or
    related field - is preferred.

  • 8 years of experience in Military
    Acquisition and Requirements Development for Attack and Reconnaissance Aircraft
    is required.

  • Prior experience in Business
    Development, Capture Strategy, Marketing amp; Sales or Program Management in a
    Defense OEM is required.

  • Prior US Military experience is
    preferred. Strategic planning experience will be helpful in this position.

  • Must be a strategic thinker and a
    results oriented professional with outstanding oral and written communication
