As the Senior Manager - Total Rewards, your role is critical in developing and implementing rewards and recognition programs that align with Delta Vacations strategic goals. Delta Vacations is a Delta Air Lines company. We are looking for a credible leader who is passionate about developing industry-leading compensation and benefits programs. This role will report to the Director of HR and is based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lead the strategic design and administration of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance. Deliver the planning and analysis of the compensation and benefits budget. Partner with leadership to drive the communication and administration of total rewards programs. Continuously assess and elevate the existing programs to maintain our industry leading standards.

Location: Delta Vacations Corporate Headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia.

  • Offer strategic leadership and mentorship to division leaders in support of rewards and recognition programs.
  • Maintain effective partnerships to support detailed implementation and performance of HR Service Delivery initiatives, including payroll, retirement, benefits, and wellness programs.
  • Lead the planning and analysis of Delta Vacations salaries administration operating budget.
  • Promote a positive culture where collaboration, diversity, and creative thinking are celebrated.
  • Champion a diverse and inclusive workforce that drives outstanding results.

What else will you be doing:

  • Lead annual compensation and benefits processes, including market pricing, salary reviews, incentive plan administration, open enrollment, and related activities or communications.
  • Drive the development of the compensation philosophy and delivery of compensation programs ensuring alignment with the organization’s business objectives and overall talent strategy.
  • Partner with leadership in the administration and communication of incentive pay or salary increase cycles.
  • Complete corporate rewards programs, including Team-based Rewards and HDQ recognition, and review programs for innovations and efficiency opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Delta as a business owner for HR Technology and manage the development, installation, testing, and modification of HRIS systems and portals. Assess organizational needs and current HRIS systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Build compensation planning materials to inform the Board of Directors and ensure governance and plan compliance with relevant regulatory standards and statutes.
  • Collaborate with HR and senior leaders to consistently assess the efficiency of current total rewards plans, policies, guidelines, documentation, training, and procedures.
  • Develop tools and implement the administration of the annual salary, corporate incentive, and other rewards programs.
  • Cultivate growth and guidance among team members to optimize efficiency. Ensure staff understands their roles and how they connect to the HR objectives.
  • Domestic and International travel may be required to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
Salary range is $79870 - $131931 annually.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Seven years of dynamic total rewards or compensation planning experience required.
  • Five years in HR Leadership experience required.
  • Proven experience in People Management Project Management.
  • Candidates must have strong financial and analytical skills. They should be able to identify problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions in a timely and accurate manner. They should also be able to make strategic recommendations and improvements.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local law governing the payment of wages and administration of compensation and employee benefit plans required.
  • Advanced PC skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Proficiency with data extraction and analysis tools such as SAP and Tableau required.
  • Compliance with all corporate and departmental policies/procedures and applicable governmental regulations. Ensure corresponding compliance of staff members.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • More than three years of compensation knowledge and experience working with Reservations Customer Engagement Centers strongly preferred.
