Rugged Mountain Aviation is seeking an experienced UH-1H Utility Pilot to support precision external load operations on power transmission and distribution projects. This position involves setting utility poles and associated structures in demanding field environments.

This is a full time salaried rotational position suited for pilots who are confident in vertical reference work, and comfortable operating in remote job sites.

Pole set experience is preferred, however external-load experience is required.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

• 2,000+ hours PIC (helicopter)
• 200+ hours external load experience
• Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
• Current Class II Medical (or higher)
• Long line / vertical reference proficiency
• Must be self-sufficient, able to lead a crew, communicate clearly with mechanics and linemen, and operate like a professional on the job site—if you cannot work with people, do not apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• UH-1 experience
• Utility construction experience (powerline, pole setting, A/C lifts, other precision work)
• Experience in high DA / mountainous environments
