JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Product Leader role will be responsible for meeting or exceeding key stakeholder and customer (both internal and external) expectations through the entire product lifecycle. The Quality Product Leader will employ project management tools to initiate, plan, execute, and monitor Quality focused projects directly affecting cost, scrap, warranty, and company profitability. This role will act as the primary contact for all Quality Assurance activities in a specific Aircraft Model, chairing the Quality Assurance product team and serving as the spokesperson for Quality Assurance at the Product Core Team. Success for this role will require coordination and collaboration across multiple organizations, including Operations, Customer Support, Parts and Distribution, IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
bull; Develop strong partnerships and working relationships with peers within Operations, Customer Support, Parts and Distribution, IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sales.
bull; Manage Quality initiatives and priorities for specific Aircraft Programs from concept through customer experience.
bull; Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and customers to understand complex business challenges, establish product expectations and milestones, and deliver a solution that meets or exceeds expectations.
bull; Collaborate with data analysts to process raw information from multiple sources to develop automated metric and reporting dashboards with the goal of assisting leadership to make informed decisions.
bull; Employ a variety of communication styles to ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction via regular product updates, including program reviews with senior leadership.
bull; Develop and/or refine project management and system analysis tools and capture best practices/lessons learned.
bull; Employ a disciplined project management approachwith the ability to gain support; and establish and maintain a solid working relationship with technical staff, managers, and peers in a matrix organizational structure.
bull; Manage, track, and report risks, opportunities, and financial metrics throughout the product lifecycle.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
bull; Bachelorrsquo;s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial), Supply Chain, or related field required.
bull; Minimum of 2 years of relative aviation experience, particularly in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, customer service or engineering.
