Applied Signal Technology (AST) is seeking an Industrial Security Manager to support secure programs at AST’s Maryland office (MDO).
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing oversight, management, and implementation of contractual security requirements utilizing the 32 Code of Federal Regulations Part 117, the ICD-705, and additional customer provided regulations.
What You Will Do:
You will lead a diverse, and talented team, providing industrial security support at the MDO and support MDO objectives at sites across AST.
You will lead in a dynamic and deliverable-driven environment, successfully navigating through difficult situations.
You will ensure that Industrial Security executes and sustains a compliant security program, generating results that enable the business and exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications You Must Have
Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience leading and executing security processes and projects within SCI, SAP, and collateral environments.
Subject matter expertise in managing and implementing an industrial security program with extensive knowledge of the ICD 705, 32 Code of Federal Regulations Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, DISS, NISS, and associated government security databases.
Experience conducting self-inspections of varying complexity.
Experience in executing leadership and managerial duties (i.e., performance development, career coaching, mentoring, training, resource management, budget management, etc.)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must have the ability to pass a Full-Scope Polygraph
Education, Experience, Skills Certifications
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in roles such as Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) or Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), demonstrating a deep understanding of cyber security principles and practices.
COMSEC experience for a traditional account.
Experience developing and implanting OPSEC and program protection plans.
Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification.
Project or program management experience.

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
