Position will have responsibility for leading Lifecycle Excellence Strategic Initiatives across Mission Systems. This includes facilitating the development of programs and processes that ensure appropriate adoption and utilization of Lifecycle Management. This position will lead several working group committees, coordinating support across the business and functional areas. This role will interface with senior leadership across Mission Systems.
What You Will Do??
Support Lifecycle Performance Excellence across the Value Stream as needed across Mission Systems:
Accountable for leading annual strategic initiatives associated with lifecycle performance improvement
Lead several working groups across multiple Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and functional/IPT partnerships (contracts legal, engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, afterspanet and business development)
Direct annual initiative rollout, establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to plans and schedules
Evaluating customer feedback to seed initiatives pipeline going forward, with prioritization ability based on employee-base impact
Lead and/or participate in the preparation of new business activities, including cross-functional support for the VSL community
Develop, update and peer review Policies, Procedures and training material to drive performance excellence into the Mission Systems organization
Must be willing and able to travel up to 10 of the time

?Qualifications You Must Have ?
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ?
3+ years experience leading business performance excellence in a defined framework
3+ years experience with project execution as Value Stream Leader (VSL)
3+ years experience creating and updating business policies processes

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
