Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines, is actively seeking Direct Entry Captains candidates to command our fleet of Embraer 145 regional jets at our Philadelphia, PA, Charlotte, NC and Harrisburg, PA crew bases.   • Captains flow to mainline after 5 years of service or be paid top of scale until they flow. Direct entry captains can bring their longevity and start on steps 2 through 20

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2,450 hours of total flight time
  • 950 hours of qualifying FAR Part 121.436(a) flight time
  • Commercial Multi-engine certificate with an instrument rating, and an English Proficient Endorsement
  • Meet all flight currency requirements to carry passengers for hire
  • Valid United States passport or a valid passport with authorization to work in the United States
  • FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Current First-Class Medical Certificate
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Type Rating in a Part 25 Aircraft
  • Current employment in a pilot position
