Helicopters Inc. is a leading helicopter operator in the United States across multiple industry segments. We operate aircraft in more than 30 metropolitan areas around the country, using a fleet of Bell 206/407 series aircraft.

We currently have a Full-Time Part 135 Charter Pilot position available in: Kearny, NJ (K65NJ)
The schedule is a 12-hour, 7-on/7-off shift, day and night rotation. Flight profiles will consist of Part 135 charter flying in the New York City area, occasional organ flights and medical crew transport in New York City and surrounding area hospitals. This is not an EMS position and no medical patients will be carried aboard the helicopter.

Starting base pay is $100,000 + Tips with a $10,000 bonus after the first year of employment.

Pilots will have the opportunity to earn additional compensation by filling-in for Company Electronic News Gathering (ENG) pilots and/or other charter pilots during off-weeks.

Requirements:

• 1,500 helicopter total time min.
• 500+ hrs. min. turbine time
• 5 years+ flying experience as PIC
• 3 years+ commercial, military, or government rotorcraft experience as PIC
• Instrument required
• Must have flown commercially in the last 12 months
• New York City airspace experience strongly preferred but not required
• Prior Part 135 experience strongly preferred
• Reside within 1 hour of Kearny, NJ base strongly preferred
