Key responsibilities and duties:
Ensure that all Management Systems are effective in their application and necessary measures are undertaken to address any deficiencies.
Ensure the maintenance of all existing Quality related Regulatory, 3rd party and Customer certifications and approvals
Plan and implement new Quality related certification and approvals to meet the business requirements
Establish and maintain an audit programme that addresses all business and regulatory requirements in order to monitor effectiveness of the Management Systems requirements
Plan, conduct, report and record SMS (Safety Management System), QA and Supplier audits as dictated by the applicable schedule.
Monitor NCR system effectiveness and report as necessary to the Quality Director
Lead and participate in quality or maintenance safety related investigations as directed by the Quality Director.
Maintain and control the Q-Pulse QA tool.
Undertake activities necessary to provide assurance that all Company certifying staff are competent and appropriately authorised.
Chair the overall Company Quality Management Review Safety Action Groups
Act as Company SMS focal point.
Liaise with Customers quality assurance department.
Undertake external quality related visits as required.
Manage, lead and develop staff and complete staff appraisals.
Act as deputy for the Quality Director as required.
Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
Aeronautical apprenticeship or equivalent; (e)
HNC or equivalent; (e)
Lead Auditor Training; (e)
Human Factors Training; (d)
Root Cause Analysis Training. (d)
Experience:
Extensive CAA / FAA / EASA 145 knowledge, understanding and experience; (e)
Extensive knowledge and understanding of AS9100/AS9110; (e)
Working knowledge and understanding of the appropriate MAA Regulatory Articles; (e)
Foreign Aviation Authority liaison experience (e.g. CAAC / TCAA); (d)
Working knowledge and understanding of applicable Def Stan documents; (d)
Working knowledge of QPulse. (d)
