POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Production Control Operations Support is responsible for the overall company Production Control programs at CTS, along with leading and executing the Gate 2 strategy. Provides strategic direction and coordination of all Gate 2 processes to meet engine build schedules. Responsible for all other duties required of a director. The candidate would be a person that leads, develops, and improves overall team performance and ensures Gate 2 performance and readiness.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversight of the Production Control, functions.
Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the work groups.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive to ensure employee effectiveness and performance.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
Ø Provide short term and long-term strategies based on engine demand and engine types to ensure team effectiveness and performance.
Ø Ensure effective and efficient movement of parts through the Engine Shop.
Ø Direct all shop planning and high-level planning.
Ø Ensures the correct configuration of material is issued as quickly as possible while best options are chosen (alternate parts or exchanges between work orders)
Ø Meet strategic objectives and provide oversight for all PC, activities.
Ø Coordinate all Gate 2 processes between different supply chain teams to meet build schedules.
Ø Create long term Gate 2 strategies to maintain required engine production.
Ø Leads and supports continuous improvement activities that are required to improve overall team performance.
Ø Change agent – responsible for identification of root cause issues throughout the engine build process and the implementation of sustainable corrective actions enabling success.
Ø Present progress reports within management team to ensure ongoing improvements are attained for product quality and overall business unit growth, and investigate and resolve causes of inefficiencies

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
4- year degree required or equivalent work experience
Experience:
Ø 5+ years working in an MRO or Aerospace environment is a must.
Ø Previous Management experience required.
Ø Quantum experience preferred.
Ø Previous production control or inventory management experience required.
Ø Negotiation experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills Abilities:
Ø Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ø Knowledge of financial/logistics concept in inventory management
Ø Strong leadership abilities
Ø Proven problem-solving abilities
Ø Proven ability to gather and compile large amounts of data and produce usable format for decision making
Ø Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ø Proven excellent follow-up and organizational skills
Ø Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ø Proven ability to handle deadlines and work well under pressure
Ø Understanding of business and management principles
Working Conditions / Environment / Special Requirements
Ø Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations.
Ø Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
Ø Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
