Job Title: Manager, General Airframe Systems

Summary of Position:
AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation is looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for aerospace engineering. The selected candidate will need to provide engineering management lead for aircraft integration, qualification, and certification activities for General Airframe Systems group, to meet companyrsquo;s safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

1. | Support General Airframe Systems as TL (Pitot, Windshield Wiper, Flotation, Oxygen, De-Ice) qualification and certification activities; review of the relevant documentation for compliance to the applicable certification rules at equipment and aircraft level. | 25 |
2. | Develop and implement technical documentation as TL (test plans, test reports, analysis reports) cost targets and schedule adherence for design/development, upgrade, testing, qualification and support of the AW609 certification | 20 |
3. | Support development of Systems Engineering competencies and overall team development and mentorship. | 25 |
4. | Provide support for production and troubleshooting activities | 15 |
5. | Coordinate with AW609 IDTrsquo;s and global supply chain and engineering disciplines across the company, to ensure alignment across physical, functional, and organizational interfaces. | 15 |

A. Education
Bachelorrsquo;s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering |
B. Experience
10 years of experience in aerospace design organization with at least 5 in an engineering management position |
C. Competencies Attributes
1. | Strong understanding of General Airframe Systems (Pitot, Windshield Wiper, Flotation, Oxygen, De-Ice) components development and aircraft integration. |
2. | Analytical and design skills. Proven experience to create plans and design models, communicate them efficiently across a diverse, complex and multicultural organization. |
3. | General understanding of systems engineering methodology, tools, and processes |
4. | Communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization, ability to negotiate win-win solutions in the presence of conflict and ambiguity, and ability to be a persuasive advocate to internal and external customers and as necessary to interface with certification authorities |
5. | Familiar with requirements management in general and particularly with certification requirements (FAR/CS 27, FAR/CS 29). |
6. | Domestic and International travelling for short periods may be required on an occasional basis |
