What You Will Be Doing
Join our team as a Completion Manager overseeing sustainment operations on Second Shift. In this role, youll be responsible for managing workforce employment, aircraft schedules, and constraint removal while leading a skilled workforce and driving quality and product disciplines. Your role will involve optimizing production flow, resolving technical issues, facilitating change and innovation, and driving employee development to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage workforce and aircraft schedules for F-16 and C-130 maintenance overhaul and upgrades, ensuring adherence to baseline standards and delivery timelines.

- Supervise and develop a skilled workforce to maintain technical proficiency levels, fostering a culture of quality and adherence to production standards.

- Foster customer relations by building rapport and confidence between stakeholders, including the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and System Program Office.

- Develop strategies to absorb over and above work and maintain normal production flow, focusing on continuous process improvement and corrective action implementation.

- Collaborate with the Sustainment Management Team and support functional organizations to resolve complex technical issues and deliver quality products, free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).

- Manage staffing levels, provide effective customer interface, identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, and foster employee development and recognition.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 8 years experience leading/supervising a large team with responsibility and oversight over production and schedules.

Experience/Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
Desired Skills:
Bachelors Degree from an Accredited College or 8 years Combined Aviation Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and Overhaul (MMRO) Experience without a degree.

Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance.

Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.

SAP experience is a plus.

Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments.

Ability to understand budget for the department and budget performance.

Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on all executive operations metrics.

Experience in Lean Manufacturing.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
