Position Summary
The Digital and IT Team lead is responsible for leading and executing IT Infrastructure supporting our Enterprise Database Storage teams. This role will part of Parker’s Enterprise Data Center Operations team, providing support to Corporate IT and focus on the continuous improvement of the IT strategic vision and roadmap.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
This position Does Have Direct Reports
Works with Division staff and other Corporate I/T staff under the direction and guidance of Enterprise management. Supervises project leaders, and technical analysts. Maintains operational relationships with vendors and Parker locations.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Creates standards for I/T systems and services to provide flexibility and maintainability.
Interface and Align with Infrastructure teams across organization
Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve technical and business-related issues.
Creates standards for I/T systems and services to provide flexibility and maintainability.
Identifies deficiencies in I/T systems and recommends solutions/improvements.
Implements and maintains I/T systems and services.
Train and develop staff to support I/T systems
Provides training materials and education to users of these systems.
Provides information to be used to promote the understanding and benefit of technology systems.
Directs the planning and scheduling of development and implementation of I/T capabilities.
Provide guidance to employees on personal development needs and opportunities.
Provides information to management identifying personnel, hardware and software needs to provide appropriate levels of systems and services within the corporation.
Key Responsibilities
This position may be assigned (but is not limited to) one of the following key information technology disciplines and/or services:
1.) Database Management (Oracle, DB2, SQL technologies)
2.) Enterprise Storage
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in IS/IT, Business, or related function
Experience in leading people and projects; project leader experience in this or closely related environment
Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability
Ability to establish own priorities and adapt to changing priorities
Demonstrates ability to manage projects.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
