Not ready to give up long lining, but do not want to travel year-round for work? Idaho Helicopters Inc is seeking a qualified Bell 205 pilot for federal firefighting contracts. After the fire season, transition into a seven on seven off air ambulance position, flying a Bell 429 at our base in Boise. That position will go from November until April and then back to the 205 for fire season.

Idaho Helicopters Inc. has operated Part 135,133, and 137 since 1970. Currently, we have three Bell 429rsquo;s and three Bell 205rsquo;s. The 429s are assigned to air ambulance and our 205s work on federal firefighting contracts along with miscellaneous 135 and 133 jobs in the off-season. Our sister company, Helicopter Maintenance Corp, is a Part 145 Repair Station and a Bell Customer Service Facility for both 429s and 205s. We are particularly proud to have been operating Bell mediums since 1987 and 429s since 2011.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Bell 205 helicopters in accordance with USFS/DOI guidelines and regulations.
• Operate Bell 429 in day and night air ambulance operations

Requirements:

• Meets qualifications for USFS/DOI contracts as a Bell 205 Pilot.
• Proven experience and proficiency in flying Bell 205 helicopters.
• Strong understanding of firefighting procedures and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on a 12 on, 12 off schedule.
• Training for 429 and air ambulance operations can be offered
