Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manager Programs 2 as DMSMS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages) Manager to join our diverse team of professionals. This leadership position is located onsite in San Diego, CA.
Essential Functions:
Under the direction and leadership of the Product Support tech team lead, the DMSMS Manager will work with Product Support and adjacent program functions to ensure proactive DMSMS management and services are executed in accordance with the Program Statement of Work (SOW) and are within budget, schedule constraints, and closure criteria. This individual will lead internal DMSMS engineers and may include other internal/external Teammates/Suppliers to ensure Program Performance, cost/schedule and quality objectives are achieved in collaboration with the program team.
This leader will manage a diverse team of DMSMS engineers and help coordinate between other teams internal and external to Product Support, internal leadership, and the customer to ensure proactive identification, management, and mitigation of obsolescence risks as defined by the SOW are achieved within budget, schedule, quality, and closure criteria. He/she will also coordinate and lead preparation of presentation materials to support DMS status review, Program Integration Reviews, and proposal efforts.
This leader will also be the Control Account Manager (CAM) of the DMSMS funding, ensuring accurate financial projection reporting to Business Management. He/She will oversee the execution of all DMSMS funded efforts and coordinate with Business Management, Contracts, internal leadership, and the customer to align funding provided with the Program SOW, risk mitigation, and additional opportunity captures that are in the best interest of objectives. This leader may also be involved in coordination of additional funding awards to best execute the Program SOW during unexpected discoveries.
