David's Catfish House is located within a couple hundred feet of the FBO, close to the end of the runway. They are open from 11AM to 9PM Tuesday - Saturday. Friendly folks at the airport...that still enjoy 'fun' flying. - Submitted by flyboytr

5/13/2023 - Dave's Catfish House is not an easy walk anymore. The gate is locked and there isn't a courtesy car to use to get there. You have to walk around the end of the north runway, outside the fence to get there. - Submitted by Frank
10/20/2021 - It's now a long walk to Davids Catfish. There's a locked gate. - Submitted by Mike
3/11/2019 - David's Catfish House is no longer easily accessible from the Monroeville airport. The County has locked the gate on the fence line at the north end of the airport where pilots used to park. The FBO has no courtesy cars, though the attendant offered to drive us the mile or so drive to David's for $25.00. We declined his offer. AJ Country Kitchen is a .3 mile walk from the FBO with a lunch and evening meal buffet service. AJs is also open for breakfast from 5:30 to 10 am everyday but Sunday. - Submitted by Paul English

12/31/2009 - Restaurant is NOT close to FBO. Park at the NE end of runway walk about 150 yards. Do not block hangars or fuel farm. - Submitted by Doug
