The breakfast destination is K-Bar Restaurant, with lunch destinations including Brick Street Cafe, Hen House Cafe, Sofia's Mexican Restaurant, Monterrey's Mexican Restaurant, T C'S Smokehouse Grill, Burger Paradise/ Burger Shack, and the K-Bar Restaurant. Nice N/S 2585 x 100 ft. turf strip. Transit operates M-F, but special arrangements may be made for groups on weekends. Great people, friendly and hospitable. 9/16/2022 - The runway at Okemah is asphalt, not sod. Very good condition. - Submitted by Bill Lott
5/23/2020 - Okemah has changed a little some restaurants have closed. What's in Okemah on 5/23/20 is dairy boy best burger joint in town, hen house restaurant, sonic, McDonald'sfiesta mart, god father pizza/loves subs love's travel stop, John's BBQ, Pepino's Mexican restaurant, Taco El Palmono Mexican restaurant, Simple Simon's pizza, Subway. K bar closed, iceberg closed, paradise donut closed and the Hospital has been moved to a new facility closer to the airport. Okemahs pasture of plenty has a stage now and Okemah Jail has a new facility, holds 80 inmates next to pasture of plenty smh. Some Okemah bad roads been fixed even lake road has been paved. - Submitted by Dustin T
