1/5/2013 - Fun little strip to get in and out of very beautiful area to fly just east of auburn airport. We stayed at the American river Inn the owner Will came out to pick us up. You must visit the Inn built in 1853 and completely restored its just perfect. Will and Maria are wonderful hosts. We had a great stay. - Submitted by John Shirley
8/20/2010 - I called the county airport office, camping _is_ permitted, but it sounds like services are minimal. - Submitted by Al
5/3/2009 - Blacksheep FBO is no longer in business camping is not allowed at the airport anymore. - Submitted by Bob
3/26/2007 - The county closed down the FBO several years ago. Too bad, it was once one of the best. The showers have been turned off in the campground.
