The Commemorative Air Force CAF had its first CAF Wings Over Dallas WWII Airshow for 2016 at Dallas Executive Airport in Dallas, Texas. The event commemorated the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor and featured TORA! TORA! TORA!, an award winning re-creation of the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. Dozens of other WWII-era aircraft were exhibited on the ramp and in the air throughout the event.
The Devil Dog Squadron is a volunteer organization of the Commemorative Air Force, dedicated to flying, maintaining and preserving a WWII B-25 bomber, the Devil Dog. The Devil Dog represents a PBJ, the Marine Corps version of a B-25. https://www.devildogsquadron.com/
Just for fun, I made this video showing what you don't usually see as a pilot. Now if the camera designers could only make their cameras more aerodynamic so the wind doesn't make them bounce around, it would be great. My apologies for the bumpy visual ride.
We attended the "Warbirds Over Addison" Aviation Event at Cavanaugh Flight Museum, Addison, Texas. Cavanaugh Flight Museum, home to the largest collection of flying historic and military aircraft in the Southwest.
