B-29 Enola Gay - Paul Tibbets Interview - Part 1 - Kermit Weeks

This is history right here! An interview I did many years ago with Paul Tibbets, at my Weeks Air Museum in Miami, Florida. Of course, Paul was the pilot of the Enola Gay B-29 Superfortress on it's secret mission during World War II. What you might not know is that he was heavily involved in the development of the B-29, and the training of the first bomber group. Check out the interview and get the scoop directly from General Tibbets.

Building an Aircraft out of Wood - You Can do it! - HomebuiltHELP

Building an experimental aircraft out of wood can be a wonderful, project. The key to building a safe, strong airplane is to understand the types of wood that need to be selected as well as what glues are appropriate for assembly. This video introduces the builder to the manner in which wood is evaluated and rated for aircraft use as well as the gluing technique that is required. While many homebuilt aircraft are made primarily of metal and require lots of specialized tools, aircraft made from wood require a much simpler inventory of tools that many of us already possess. You can build an aircraft in your workshop or garage.
