Job Summary:

FS Engineering Construction offers professional service in all aspects of site construction, renovations, and demolition. Our services range from small, single task support projects to large, full scale construction projects.   This includes interfacing our internal customers, various stakeholders, engineers/architects, and construction contractors.  This is a great opportunity to join team oriented organization that drives successful results. 

As a facilities Project Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of facilities projects including writing request for proposal documents, engineering/design, schedule, planning, safety, field oversight, compliance, quality, and project turnover.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare effective project initiation and approval documents; manage routing and customer approval processes.
  • Organize and lead project kickoff and closeout meetings with the client and contractors. 
  • Perform timely and accurate project management administrative activities including issuing meeting minutes, purchase and change orders, and verifying work, processing invoices, and updating project status.
  • Updates and modifications based on customers input and feedback on proposed designs. Preparation of bid documents to perform required work based on final designs and procurement of equipment, and material.
  • Bidders walk-thru, review and reply of any requests for information or clarifications.
  • Pre-construction planning and meeting with selected bidder to include review of safety requirements, contractor access to site, and scheduling.
  • Daily reviews of project construction to assure quality, EHS, schedule, and general compliance verification of project work by contractor.
  • Create project executive summary (using PW approved format) and provide updates every two weeks.
  • Review contractor and supplier invoices related to project costs for accuracy, completion, and compliance to contract and/or purchase order.
  • Ensure final as built changes are made to site Auto-cad files, seating management programs, and final Documenteum files are completed per PW requirements.
  • Attend mandatory coordination sessions which occur every two weeks at 9am. (subject to change)

Basic Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Must have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
  • U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
