What are your contributions to the team?

 

In your role, you will be expected to:

  • Develop and implement a strategic energy management plan aligned with carbon neutrality objectives and ISO 50001 standards.

  • Conduct energy audits and assessments (ASHRAE Level 1 to 3) to identify opportunities for improvement and GHG reduction.

  • Collect, analyze, and monitor energy data to establish baselines and performance indicators.

  • Define and lead energy improvement projects (process optimization, heat recovery, HVAC systems, etc.).

  • Implement and administer an Energy Management System (EnMS) for effective, real-time monitoring.

  • Prepare and submit grant applications (Hydro-Québec, Énergir, ÉcoPerformance).

  • Raise awareness and provide training to staff on best energy practices.

  • Track and present results (energy savings, GHG reduction, ROI) to stakeholders and management.

How to thrive in this role?
 
  • Valid engineering license (P.Eng.) and CEM or CET certification.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in energy audits, energy efficiency projects, and the management of complex systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of energy management systems, HVAC technologies, and industrial optimization.
  • Project management skills (planning, multisite coordination).
  • Proficiency with digital tools (EMS, IoT, automation systems).
  • Knowledge of energy incentive programs (Hydro-Québec, Énergir).
  • French required; professional proficiency in English.
