What you can expect as an Aircraft Prep Lead at West Star:
The Aircraft Prep Lead will oversee the day-to-day operations for the Cabin Prep Team. The supervisor will ensure the professional appearance and stocking of inventory on aircraft that are brought to the company for service. This important position will follow the specifications of the contract to ensure all aircraft are ready for crew members and passengers. The Aircraft Prep Lead must be able to lead a team effectively, maintain a high level of detail, exhibit strong oral and written communication skills, and be focused on delivering exemplary customer service.

Your Education:
A High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driverrsquo;s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
Your Experience :
Prior experience in auto detail or cleaning is preferred.
Your Initiative:
Wersquo;re looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common.
Your Sense of Responsibility:
Attend work every day as scheduled
Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.
Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day.
Must perform work in accordance with FAA guidelines
Maintain customer oriented work habits and a positive customer service environment
Must provide quality detail work to customers
Follow all company safety rules during the performance of duties
Must be able to represent the company in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of service with a responsive approach and positive attitude

Physical Requirements
Lifts 40 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp with hands, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and/or maintain balance.
Routine or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands
Climbing ladders and work on elevated platforms (up to 40 ft. in the air) using fall protection safety gear if needed.
Working on various stands in and on aircraft wing areas on a routine basis
Pass a Pulmonary Function Test to obtain respirator certificate as required.
Work with others in a professional manner.
Use effective communication related to inter-department needs and coordination.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal colleagues, aircraft crew members, and external customers.
Must demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment with the ability to be flexible and understanding so that company goals can be achieved.
Must show appreciation and respect for customer needs and expectations.
Must be able to represent the company in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of service with a responsive approach and positive attitude.
Must display characteristics of professionalism and organization.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position working in hangar environment.
May be required to work indoors and outdoors year round in all types of weather conditions
Varied positions in, on and around the aircraft including working on ladders and work platforms
Equipment Used
Pneumatic buffers and sanders
Various rags, towels and cleaning equipment
Floor cleaning machines
