What are your contributions to the team?
- Oversee and lead the Quality Team at our Los Angeles, North Hills site
- Establish and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure company and customer requirements are met through effective company-wide implementation of the QMS
- Provide periodic reports to upper management on the status and effectiveness of the QMS as related to the company’s written Quality Policies
- Ensure process and product compliance through appropriate reviews and approvals of work products
- Be responsible for administering the Company’s Quality program in accordance with customer and internal company AS9100 requirements which serves as the primary interface for customer and regulatory Quality audits
- Develop standardized processes, tools and methods for product inspection / verification and associated compliance documentation
- Act as the primary customer contact for escapes and quality issues
- Ensure that all certifications and training are performed to comply and adhere to company, industry and regulatory requirements are met and maintained
How to thrive in this role?
You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
You have 5+ years’ experience, including at least 2 years of leadership experience
You have experience in aerospace and / or manufacturing inspection
You have a proven understanding of ISO9001, AS9100
AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification is preferred
You have knowledge of quality control, process control, statistical inspection methods, and blueprint reading
You have a demonstrated ability to perform high level mathematical, geometry, and mechanical properties problem solving
