Purpose of Position
Seeking a strategic-minded, customer-service-focused and critical-thinking portfolio manager with experience handling aviation loans and leases for high-net-worth individuals and large operating companies. Under limited supervision, the QSFS Portfolio Manager will be responsible for establishing policies and procedures for maintaining and growing the QSFS loan and lease portfolio. The individual should be able to provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of business aviation loan and lease requests, including complex ownership structures and cash flow sources.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Establish policies and procedures for QSFS that minimize risk and provide transparency into all loans and leases.
  • Establish a structure for all current and future deals that promotes accuracy and reduces administrative tracking.
  • Analyze credit data, financial statements, and other financial information to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
  • Use critical thinking skills/research to develop and support credit recommendations.
  • Use creativity in developing new or enhanced product types.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret financial statements, tax returns, aging statements, and covenants. An accounting background/education is a plus.
  • An understanding of accounting and financial statements, including the relationship between the statement of cash flows to the income statement and balance sheet, is required.
  • Understand appropriate loan structuring concepts.
  • Understand company formation structures and identify borrowing and guaranty structures.
  • Knowledge of loan documents, collateral instruments, and banking/financial terminology.
