What are your contributions to the team?
  • Supervise assigned aircraft maintenance employees and responsible for the daily and overall operations of the aircraft maintenance department, to include safety, schedules, personnel, and quality.  
  • Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security program
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities such as performance development management, time keeping, hiring, dismissals and lead/coordinate daily meetings
  • Coordinate the completion of all planned and ad-hoc maintenance
  • Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Repair Station/Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
  • Monitor housing and facilities safety requirements and report any insufficiency
  • Engage with customers regarding Aircraft Maintenance (where required)
  • Identify and communicate best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage Database/Reporting to ensure labor efficiency is in line with work order
How to thrive in this role?
  • You typically have 3 years of experience in performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspection procedures
  • You have leadership experience; Aircraft Maintenance leadership is preferred
  • You possess an A P certificate or certificated under FAR (part 65)
  • You are familiar with aircraft inspection system procedures
  • You are familiar with Environmental, Health Safety rules and regulations
  • You have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • You demonstrate effective leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people
  • You have strong organizational and planning skills
  • You have proficient computer skills
