Senior Manager, Contract Services - HNL/LIH Charters - Honolulu, Hawaii

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees Honolulu and Lihue contracted airline operations
  • Supervises Contract Service Managers to ensure safety and efficiency of station operations according to Company policies, procedures, and governmental rules and regulations; executing service standards and policies as determined by customer airline
  • Actively seek and develop long term strategy for Contract Service to include new markets, new services
  • Routinely meet with contracted airline customers and foster positive vendor relationships.Must understand and execute expectations of the contracted airlines' agreements
  • Maintain operational metrics and service levels while cultivating staff development.Manages station activity reports, and timely submission of probationary and annual performance reviews
  • Liaison with other departments to ensure proper coordination of all Contract Service operational work areas
  • Liaison with Governmental Agencies and vendors to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards are met
  • Responsible for all aspects of the charter program including scheduling, planning and coordinating the overall operation with the necessary vendors
  • Oversight of the charter security program ensuring the customers' events are handled professional and safely while meeting all operational and regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 3 years of airline supervisory experience or five years in related field
  • Working knowledge of Immigration, Customs and related regulatory policies/procedures
  • Experience working with a unionized workforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Project development and management experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in leading large teams and successfully managing multiple projects
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to successfully manage a budget
  • Must demonstrate initiative, be self-motivated with the ability to achieve results with minimal oversight
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work professionally and productively with all levels of employees in various departments
  • Ability to work varied hours and shifts
  • Must be flexible and adapt well to change
  • Must have GSC (Ground Security Coordinator) (qualified within 6 months of starting/transferring into position)
