MBS Radio (Maritime Broadcasting System Ltd.) is a locally owned and operated group of 30 radio stations across the Maritimes. We are currently seeking a Chief Helicopter Pilot for our Halifax, Nova Scotia location.

The Helicopter Pilot is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of company employees and materials throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island aboard the company’s AS350 B2 helicopter. This individual will also be responsible for all other aspects of our company’s flight operations from maintenance of the helicopter to ensuring that the hanger is in a neat and organized fashion. This is a full time position with flexible hours required.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 1500 hours of operating time on a AS350 Helicopter.
• AME License would be considered an asset.
• Strong adherence to safety standards and a strong safety record.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills including the ability to converse effectively with all levels of management.
• Has a strong pride in their work and is very organized.
