Teardown Evaluation Supervisor will directs, coordinates and/or supervises all disciplines within the given area of responsibility in processing materials or manufacturing products to achieve the desired level of costs, quality and schedule. Develop and provide leadership to customer-focused production teams to institutionalize the processes of improvement in accordance with organization goals and objectives.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of principles, theories, concepts and industry practices and standards of internal and external operations to access effectiveness of quality controls, accuracy of records, efficiency of operations and effectiveness of training.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and be capable of working from other technical data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and respond to customer complaints.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and applications.
  • Scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of FAA rules and regulations
  • Working knowledge of composite and metal bond parts associated with the repair and/or manufacturing of aircraft components.
  • Competent in the processes and procedures for the area over which supervision is exercised.

Requirements:

Job Specifications:

  • Coordinates the flow of work to ensure compliance to committed schedules, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, customer engineering requirements and product center profit requirements.
  • Six or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory and management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Access.

Education:

  • High school diploma, GED equivalent (Required)
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A P) or Repairman license (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

l Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
