JOB SUMMARY:

The Fleet Account Manager (FAM) will support the Business Operations Team to forge lasting relationships and create meaningful experiences for our fleet customers. The FAM is integral in maintaining the relationship between the business and our largest customers. The FAM will be responsible for supporting the Textron Aviation Sales organization, managing fleet aircraft agreements and delivering aircraft to fleet customers.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administration and execution of domestic and international fleet contracts from order placement through delivery.
  • Serve as primary interface between fleet customers various functions within the company and applicable regulatory support departments/agencies required to bring the contract to a successful conclusion.
  • Assist with delivery activities and support special requests and facility tours.
  • Works closely with the delivery team to facilitate the smooth and timely delivery of aircraft to fleet customers and coordinate the logistics and documentation for the closing process.
  • Represents the Company as the fleet clients primary focal point from initiation of purchase agreement until completion and delivery of aircraft.
  • Applies Contract Administration principles, theories and concepts as well as provides sales support, avionics and interior capabilities. Has basic knowledge in at least one discipline and demonstrates the aptitude and willingness to expand learning and skill-base to a wide variety of job skills and personal competencies including those necessary for succeeding in the team-based environment.
  • Oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of new aircraft purchase agreements for fleet customers, adhering to agreed-upon schedules while promptly responding to and proficiently processing notices received from fleet customers.
  • Evaluates all purchase agreements relative to Textron Aviationrsquo;s financial exposure and ensure meticulous tracking of deposits and milestone payments.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to fulfill requirements and obligations outlined in the contract in its entirety.
  • Assists Sales Department in the preparation of proposals requiring quotations for cost, schedule, weight, certification, etc. in response to requests. Possesses product knowledge and an understanding of Textron Aviationrsquo;s capabilities and applicable regulations.
  • Processes final specifications / aircraft orders to Manufacturing via SAP in strict compliance with production schedules to ensure constant production flow.
  • Research, thoroughly document, and proficiently communicate change orders throughout the business, ensuring effective transmission to the customer, including but not limited to customer requests, product updates, product improvements. Create and distribute routine communications that outline the progress of ongoing projects, schedules, and agreements, ensuring key individuals across the company are actively involved as necessary on a regular cadence.
  • Stay actively engaged with the aftermarket fleet support teams and funnel information to drive improvements and changes from the field back through the proper production channels.
  • Evaluates and determines the most cost effective and efficient approach for fulfilling fleet requests, and then authorizes the Company to accomplish the approved task.
  • Assists in the administration of all formal and legal documents associated with each delivery. Stays abreast of State, Federal and International Regulation requirements related to aircraft certification, exportation, licensing, registration taxation, etc.
  • Provides internal coordination with proper FAA and foreign certification awareness and coordination to ensure compliance with operational regulations and foreign certification requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvement, actively contributing to the enhancement of workflows within the FAM role.

Requirements:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aviation, Engineering, Marketing, Sales or related field
  • Minimum 2 years relative experience required

  • SAP Experience preferred.
