Fixed Wing Aviation Services Manager - Amarillo, Texas

Working with the Chief Pilot, the Aviation Services Manager (ASM) will ensure that safety and in-service rates are the highest priority for the ASM's assigned service area. The ASM will work collaboratively with clinical, maintenance, communication and business operations team members to ensure effective communications and highest customer service standard are maintained. Priorities will shift based on the business needs and regulatory requirements therefore clear and effective communications between the ASM and Chief Pilot is essential to the success of this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1.Ensure Safety is the first and highest priority in all operations, actively participating in the Apollo MedFlight safety and quality assurance programs.
2.Professionally represent Apollo MedFlight to customers, employees and patients through action, behavior, and communication.
3.Meet the job description responsibilities for a line pilot in the Apollo MedFlight program.
4.Act as primary relief pilot in their assigned area of responsibility in aircraft which they are current and qualified.
5.Supervise and manage pilots assigned to the Apollo MedFlight program.
6.Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of the General Operations Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other instructions pertinent to assigned duties.
7.May be qualified as Instructor and/or Check Airman and conduct training and observations as assigned.


Qualification Standards

1. Air Medical experience
2. Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
3. Meet all Line Pilot qualifications
  • 2,000 total FW flight hours
  • 500 total hours multi engine
Preferred Qualifications
1. ATP
2. Previous King Air 90 experience
3. Live in or be willing to commute to the Texas/Oklahoma Panhandle region
