**THIS POSITION IS PENDING CONTRACT AWARD**
Tyonek will provide Maintenance Operations Support to perform Functional Check Flights (FCFs), Maintenance Test Flights (MTFs), Operational Check Flights (OCFs), Acceptance Test Profiles (ATPs), Aircraft Ferrying/Recovery/Delivery, and Instructional Training in support of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC)
All Administrative, Planning, and Scheduling support necessary for successful contract performance Conduct any type of Maintenance Test Flight's.
Instructional Training, Basic Functional Check Flight (FCF) Operational Flight Check (OCF) qualification training.
Development and maintenance of instructional training materials as required for FCF, OCF, and maintenance operations support.
Conduct Ferry Flights, Aircraft Recovery/Delivery
Functional Check Flights (FCF)
Annotating FCF/OCF Results
Acceptance Test Profiles (ATPs)
Operational Check Flights (OCF)/Maintenance Test Flights (MTF)
Prepare flight plans considering such factors as altitude, terrain, weather, aircraft, crew capabilities, operational and training requirements and flight procedures
Test both normal and emergency functions of aircraft systems
Coordinate and direct flight phases of test or support with other aircraft
Maintain flight records and reports observations made during mission
Provide detailed and effective communications with ground maintenance personnel on results of maintenance test, acceptance test flights and all other flights as required
Determine the need to re-fly or fix-and-fly all deficiencies noted in-flights
Must be able to work (Wed-Sun) Limited to a 40-hour work week. No Overtime.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree is required
Must be previously CV-22 qualified as indicated by successful completion of a formal USAF aircrew qualification training course or qualified by another agency of the US Department of Defense in any V-22 variant.
The pilot must have not less than 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
The PIC time must include 300 hours as PIC of a CV-22 or other V-22 Variant
Must have and maintain a current FAA Class II Flight Physical Medical Certificate
Must be previously USAF FCF certified in a CV-22.
Must currently have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Must have a Flight Instructor Qualification: IAW AFI 10-220

Must possess physical dexterity and coordination to qualify for Federal Aviation Administration Commercial Pilot Certificate
Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for up to twelve (12) hours per day and sit for up to eight (8) hours per day.
Must be able to perform non-rated crewmember duties during mission operations
Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
Must be able to climb stairs.
Must be able to read and interpret newspaper and typewritten print, maps, aeronautical charts, and weather charts.
Must be able to grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
Must be able to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
Must meet or exceed Federal Aviation Administration minimum visual acuity and hearing standards for Class II medical certificate.
Must be physically capable of climbing vertical ladders or built-in aircraft steps to heights of 10-12 feet.
May be exposed to chemical mist, gas, vapors, ultra-violet and infrared radiation.
May be required to lift up to 60 pounds to a height of four (4) feet and be required to lift up to 20 pounds to a height of seven (7) feet.
May be exposed to certain obstructions on the surface as well as ladders, stairs, etc.
May be exposed to rapid or extreme temperature changes.
May be required to meet Night Vision Goggle Vision Requirements: 20/100 near and FAR sight correctable to 20/20, be able to focus Night Vision Goggle at minimum distance of 20 feet.
May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure. May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft. Must be able to travel to and between remote locations in austere and/or hostile environments.
