Location
Cahokia, IL, is special for its historical significance as the site of the ancient Cahokia settlement, one of the largest and most influential urban settlements of the Mississippian culture. At its peak around 1100-1200 AD, Cahokia was larger than London and featured large earthen mounds, plazas, and residential areas. The site is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its cultural importance and the advanced nature of its civilization. Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site preserves this heritage, allowing visitors to explore the remains of this pre-Columbian city and learn about the fascinating history of the indigenous peoples who inhabited the region.
Job Summary
Responsible to ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area. Responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures.
