DPP is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for an opportunity with our client in the banking industry in Columbia, SC.Location: Fully onsite in Columbia
Duration: 12 months; W2 position
Position summary:
- The Senior Scrum Master leads Agile development teams in delivering technology solutions aligned with the Bank’s product vision and strategic goals.
- As a champion of Agile principles, this role drives best practices, fosters innovation, and enhances team performance through coaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Educate teams and stakeholders on Agile principles using training and practical tools.
- Mentor Scrum Masters and team members to strengthen Agile practices.
- Develop strategies for enterprise-wide adoption of Agile methodologies and cultural transformation.
- Implement Agile processes to improve collaboration, transparency, and predictability.
- Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and learning.
- Serve as the primary contact for Scrum team-related projects and applications.
- Coordinate across teams in a scaled Agile environment to meet project goals.
- Lead by example and drive Agile maturity and organizational change.
- Align Agile practices with business processes, products, and technologies.
- Partner with senior leadership to evolve and sustain Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Finance, or Accounting (master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years as Scrum Master or 5+ years as Project Manager
- Certified Scrum Master and Advanced Scrum Master required; Professional Scrum Master preferred
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and experience in coaching teams
- Proven success managing complex, multi-team projects
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills
- Technical exposure or programming experience is a plus.
