Boerne Stage Field Airport
Boerne Stage Airfield is located on Scenic Loop Road northwest of San Antonio. The orignial Rudy's BBQ is a few minutes away, and the Scenic Loop Cafe and historic downtown Boerne are always worth the flight. Golf at Tapatia Springs Resort is a beautiful challenge. The airport has a courtesy car, self service fuel, and there are numerous hotels and BB's in this beautiful hill country town. - Submitted by Daled78596

10/21/2024 - Nice little FBO. But be advised of a $30 ramp fee which is really unusual for a tiny airport with basically no services.
And then prepare for the other shock of getting billed in the mail separately for the surprise landing fee they are using ADSB and a third party to extract from you. Not the local traffic. Just the other transient tax payers.
All things considered ... avoid Boerne Stage.

10/5/2011 - Boerne Stage has finally added a new tie-down pad, but now charges a nightly tie-down fee. High priced fuel and a tie down fee for such a small airport is a curious business strategy. This place is really getting crowed, too. Its now selling airpark lots which will make the traffic situation even worse. - Submitted by Don
1/21/2011 - If you've never flown a sailplane, Boerne Stage airfield is home to the San Antonio Soaring Society. Grab a ride or add on a glider rating! - Submitted by Tim Witt
