Hollister Municipal Airport
GREAT place to fly into. Outside dining, reasonable prices and nice people. The airport has some of the neatest old planes in open hangars which you are welcome to check out and take pictures. Runway is long and in great shape - just be aware of the glider traffic and make sure to give the landing gliders priority. - Submitted by N5903C

8/5/2014 - Unfortunately, the restaurant at the airport here in Hollister closed. There are still lots of interesting airplanes to look at, and they frequently fly on the weekend. But no food at the field. - Submitted by John Szpara
7/7/2014 - A short for CVH - Hollister,CA. Airport. Currently no Restaurant on the Airfield. The best alternative Eatery is the Wizzard Café, open Monday thru Saturday across the highway thru the fence, just a few hundred feet for your two feet,in the white CORBIN Bldg, good Food at reasonable prices. Open for Breakfast and Lunch. - Submitted by Joe whoo
4/12/2013 - FYI: THE DING-A-LING IS NOW CLOSED,UNK WHO WILL REOPEN IT OR WHEN-OR IF. THE FORMER OWNER WILL TAKE OVER THE WIZARD CAFE IN THE CORBIN BLDG, ACROSS THE SAN FELIPE RD AND TO THE EAST.FIND A LOW SPOT OVER THE BARB WIRE FENCE AND WALK TO THE EAST - LEFT - OUT OF THE CVH GATES. 1/16/2013 - The nearby town of San Juan Bautista about 8 miles from the field is nicer, more scenic and cheaper than Carmel It has a beautiful 17th century Mission, nicely restored and quaint shoppping. - Submitted by Adam Sparks
9/6/2010 - FYI: During the summer/fall, the wildfire season, the CALFIRE aircraft use CVH as an operating base and they use Runway 31 or 13 with high frequency of flights, so listen up. You may land and take off, using Runway 24 and be sure you announce yourself. - Submitted by Joe Whoo
3/28/2010 - Hollister this year will have for the first time an Airshow on Memorial Day weekend - 29. and 30. of May 2010 from 10:00AM-4:00PM. More info is available on their website: Hollisterairshow.com. - Submitted by Joe Whoo
