8/16/2017 - As I understand it they don't have the golf carts anymore. The restaurant will pick you up or you can walk a short distance to the restaurant. It's definitely good barbecue and worth the flight. - Submitted by 46R
4/22/2015 - The golf carts are long gone. People, sadly, kept doing damage to them and Hard Eight stopped supplying them. Took all the fun out of going to KSEP. Sad to see it end. - Submitted by John Peterson

12/1/2014 - Went here on 11/26/2014. There were no golf carts, but the people from Hard Eight came and picked us up quickly. Good BBQ place. Sort of crowded around noon but the entire hold up was the fact that they had one person taking and filling orders for everyone that came in. Other that standing outside and waiting 35 minutes just to place our order, all was good. - Submitted by Steve

2/5/2011 - The BBQ is awesome! I flew in from Altus, OK for lunch. Wow I got way to much food, but it was on purpose becasue it was so amazing. The golf carts are right there when you park even has a sign saying they are for Hard Eight BBQ customers only. They also have a car you can use at the field. 3/5/2010 - I love The Hard Eight and fly there several times a year if not more. Even if the golf carts are not at the FBO just call and, unlike Cooper's in Llano, they will send someone to get you! Great food and people!!! - Submitted by Steve Z
12/24/2009 - The folks are right, it is wonderful barbecue. The airport is usually quite busy and there are jumpers in the vicinity so check notams and listen carefully. Although the golf carts are there, it is a nice walk to the restaurant. And besides, after the huge meal, you will need to walk a bit. - Submitted by Barney
8/19/2009 - My husband and I landed, a gentleman pulled up in a golf cart, left us with the golf cart, and gave us directions to Hard Eight. It was an excellent visit. The FBO is still under construction, looks like it will be nice once finished. - Submitted by Jane Trolinger
11/18/2008 - It's true...go here often since it's such a quick from Granbury. Awesome BBQ, golf carts at the airport for transportation to restaurant, nice 4200 ft runway, a new FBO currently under construction...check it out.
