Friday Harbor Airport
Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands of the Puget Sound is an excellent place for a meal or a visit. Friday Harbor is a short 5 minute walk from the airport. There are plenty of great places to eat, ample places to stay including small Inns and B&B's. You can take one of the many Orca watching boats or head out in a sea kayak. Come for the afternoon, or stay for a week, you'll have a great time. - Submitted by rayhardee

7/2/2022 - The walk to the ferry terminal area of town is about 15 minutes from the transient parking area in the NE corner of the airport. There are a few restaurants and things about 10 minutes into the jaunt.
Ernie's Aviation Cafe is on the NW side located on the field. Be sure to check the hours. Most things in FH seem to shutdown around 7pm, although I'm sure there are at least a few options after that. Worth the flight, that is for sure! - Submitted by Russ Longdon
